Producer products' focus in providing farmers and livestock producers with unique hedging and marketing alternatives. these needs are met through the use of products such as the Pacer Floor™, Capped Average™, Premium Offer™ and Premium Forward™.

In addition to providing these tools directly to farmers through Cargill facilities, we have selectively licensed these products to origination facilities outside of Cargill.

Customers embrace our products because they reduce the stress of marketing production or procuring inputs without eliminating potential for improved pricing. Notably, because of the risk management tools we've created, many producers have received favorable financing terms from lenders.

Product Information

The Pacer Plus™ Contract delivers the average of the daily high futures price over a set period of time. In other words, the Pacer Plus ensures you will sell the high every day.

The Pacer Floor™ Contract delivers the average futures price over a set period of time, however, you are guaranteed no worse than a pre-defined floor.

The Pacer Target™ Contract delivers the average futures price over a set period of time up to a specified price, however you are guaranteed no worse than a pre-defined floor price.

The Capped Average™ Contract delivers the average futures price over a set period of time, however you are guaranteed no worse than a pre-defined maximum price. This product is intended for the customer who is a consumer of a commodity, rather than a producer.

The Premium Offer™ Contract delivers a premium for grain in exchange for a firm offer to sell additional grain for deferred delivery at an established price if certain conditions exist.

The Premium Forward™ Contact delivers a premium for a grain to be priced up to a maximum futures level. This premium may be reserved for identity preserved or specialty grain contracts.

The Floor Plus™ Contract delivers a floor price and the ability to improve in price by a pre-defined amount. The contract price will be no worse than the floor, but if the market closes at or above the floor, the contract will be improved by a pre-defined amount.
